How Strong is the concrete used ?

The concrete used is the same concrete used on motorways.

Made to withstand nearly any vehicle.

All our concrete is reinforced with fibre mesh.

What are controlled joints ?

Controlled joints are cut at a minimum of 25% into the concrete every 12ft at a ratio of 2:1 to minimize the risk of cracking. Here are two diagrams showing how the joints work.

How is the concrete prepared ?

We have designed a little diagram so you can see how the ground is prepped and concrete laid.

Can it be laid all year round ?

Yes but it could take slightly longer in winter

Will I see weeds growing through the pattern?

No as the concrete is solid all the way through so weeds cant grow in joints.

How long before I can drive on it?

In summer it needs to be left 3-4 days but in winter it could take a bit longer to dry.

If I don't like the colour of my drive once it has been laid can I change it?

Once laid the colour cant be changed. But with our expert advise we will make sure this never happens.

Is the sealer slippery?

The sealer can be quite slippery once sealed but there is a new shark grip sealer to prevent this.

Will the drive stain if any thing is spilled on it?

Not really as the drive is sealed. But incase of spillages make sure you wipe it up ASAP using washing up liquid.
